Jojo shows off her dark locks as she arrives at the 2010 VH1 Do Something! Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Monday evening (July 19).
The 19-year-old singer kept it fun and fresh on the red carpet with a pink floral dress.
Jojo caught up with SandMRadio on the carpet and dished on what’s coming up for her next. She shared, “I’ve been back in the studio and recording. I have an album and a mixtape that are coming out. The mixtape is coming before the album next month. You know, just writing and recording for that extended period of time.”

JoJo is finally set to release her new album All I Want Is Everything before 2010 wraps up.
It’s four years since the 19-year-old released her last record The High Road in 2004. This new LP was actually completed in 2006, but never hit shelves due to her label continually pushing back the release date.
Now JoJo has confirmed fans will get to hear those songs later this year, but also revealed that she has been in the studio recording newer material.
She said: “It’s been a really strange experience. Things have been coming together finally! I’ve been working with some really great people.
“It’s not like the album was shelved and locked away for a year – I haven’t stopped being in the studio recording and writing,” the actress/singer told Rap-Up.
“It seems like things are moving forward and there will be a single out pretty shortly. We’re at that process where we’re ready to mix and choose the songs and master.”
When asked to describe the album, JoJo said the disc was “pretty eclectic – more so than my first two albums. There’s more energy to it.
“There’s more upbeat songs and there is a common thread throughout the whole thing because I basically co-wrote every song. It’s very transparent, it’s very honest.”
On November 11th, 2009, at the Avalon nightclub in the heart of Hollywood, Jojo will confirm her desire to “help fight prejudice against the LGBT community” by joining the Open Artist Movement.
At the 2nd annual Open Artists with Open Arms event, “Pop Goes the World”, Jojo will perform one of her international hits in front of 400 LGBT youth and their allies, as well as over 1,000 VIPs, celebs, and entertainment seekers. She will be in good company. The event is directed by choreographer Kevin Stea of Madonna’s ‘Truth or Dare’ and hosted by Alec Mapa, star of Ugly Betty. Internet sensation B. Scott will do celeb interviews and host the youth lounge pre-party. Additional performances to include American Idol’s Blake Lewis, international recording artist Guy B, Original Pussy Cat Doll and solo recording artist, Carmit Bachar, Tigarah, The Futhamuckas, Trish of Monsters of Hip-Hop, Kyle Puccia, Fanny Pak, and many others…
